I’m getting really, really sick of people talking about how “Obama couldn’t fix in 2 years what it took 8 years to screw up.” and other various things of that ilk, getting all upset about the elections that just took place.  To all of you: quite frankly, you’re wrong and you don’t get it.  A) It took a lot more than 8 years to screw it up.  It has been years and years and years of bad and irresponsible policy.  Stop blaming Bush.  No, he didn’t help…but he didn’t cause it either.  B) Obama has not only not fixed it, it continues to get worse.  And anyone who knows two shits about economics knows that nothing he is doing even makes any sense for an economy that’s in the shape we’re in.  So stop acting like if we just gave it more time, he could magically fix everything that’s wrong with all of the exact same sort of broken policies we’ve been working with for years.  We need ACTUAL change…not just the rhetoric bullshit he fed us during election season that ended up being the same old thing.
